Riddle Realms is designed for children and collects no personal information whatsoever.
Nothing. Riddle Realms does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information. We do not ask for a name, email address, postal address, phone number, date of birth, photograph, location or contacts. The app has no account system and no sign-in.
The explorer name shown in the app is chosen by the player from a fixed list of fantasy nicknames supplied by us. It cannot be typed, and it cannot identify a child.
Game progress — puzzles solved, stars, coins, badges and chosen outfits — is saved only in the app's private storage on the device. It is never uploaded. Deleting the app, or using Reset all progress in the Parent Area, removes it.
Riddle Realms contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking technologies and no third-party software development kits.
The app is fully playable offline. The only network activity occurs if a parent chooses to make a purchase, in which case the transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never receive payment details.
On Android, the app's installation package lists the standard internet permissions required by the Google Play Billing library. The app itself makes no network requests.
All purchases are one-time and are protected by a parental gate. Apple and Google process them under their own privacy policies. There are no subscriptions, and the in-game coin currency cannot be bought with money — coins are earned only by solving puzzles.
Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. We believe this complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and the GDPR.
Since no personal data ever leaves the device, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. You can erase all on-device data at any time from the Parent Area, or by uninstalling the app.
Any change to this policy will be published at this address with a new date.
